A recipe for success.
In some ways “games advertising” has it easy – making stuff to please people who like to blow things up, or race cars, or in this case play football. That’s both a wide and wild canvas. And in this totally [email protected]#ked up video for Madden (an EA Sports title) the canvas wraps around itself, up it’s own butt, and protrudes out a cultural parody of absurdity. Cliche after cliche are used to brilliant effect. Parody riding high. It’s just ridiculous and stupid and fun. And the game itself is centre stage.
I don’t play games. I wont probably ever play this game. But I sure as hell would if I ever did find myself on a couch again looking to blast away a few hours. But for now, it’s just this 5 minute delight.
